My name is Dee, I am the Director of Pontchartrain Preschool, and mother of two young children.My daughter is the reason I got into childcare. In 2005 I was looking to change careers and needed to place her in a childcare facility, but when I started looking, I didn't like what I saw. Knowing there were other parents out there just like me, I decided to purchase a school and make it a place parents would feel good about leaving their child.
Well after running Pontchartrain Preschool for 3 years I felt it was time to take the next step and we are now moving into our own building!
As always Pontchartrain Preschool's purpose is to provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for your young child to explore, learn, and create at their individual pace, with the guidance of experienced staff.
Our objective is to provide each child with developmentally appropriate activities to meet their growing needs both intellectually and physically. Children thrive from parental attention therefore we encourage parental participation as often as possible. Our doors are always open and we encourage you to feel free to visit at your convenience.
